Dr. Travis Weeks
| Dr. Weeks was raised in Winter Springs, Florida and was an “Original” Keeth Elementary School Cougar. He went on to attend Jackson Heights Middle School and Oviedo High School. At Oviedo High, Dr. Weeks was runner-up All American of Boys’ Soccer and named the school’s Student Athlete of the Year in 1996.
Dr. Weeks attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he studied structural/civil engineering. He was a four year starter for the Men’s Varsity Soccer Team. From 1997 through 2000, he was on the S.E.C. Athletics Dean’s List and was named to the Missouri Valley Conference Scholar Athlete Team during his senior year. Dr. Weeks graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University in 2000 with a Bachelor in Engineering.
Following his undergraduate education, Dr. Weeks attended the University Of Maryland Baltimore College Of Dental Surgery for his dental education. In addition to graduating near the top of his class, he was president of the Psi Omega Dental Fraternity and the founder of the student group Special Interest in Orthodontics. He was also the only student in his graduating class to complete one year clerkship programs in both pediatrics and orthodontics. Upon graduation in the spring of 2006, he was inducted into the honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Also, he received the American Student Dental Association of Excellence Award and the American Association of Orthodontics Award.
Following dental school, Dr. Weeks worked as a general practitioner for one year in the greater Baltimore area. He later attended Nova Southeastern University’s Orthodontic Program and was awarded a Certificate in Orthodontics.
Dr. Weeks is extremely excited to return to his hometown of Winter Springs, and become a part of the community that he has missed for so many years. Dr. Weeks is married to his wonderful wife Reya, and is father to their two furry dogs, Zoe and Pancho. In his spare time, Dr. Weeks enjoys playing just about any and every sport, spending time at the beach, and enjoying the company of his friends and family.
